I signed up for Justin.tv a while back. It started out as a proof of concept website where a guy named Justin would wear a mobile webcam on himself 24/7. People would watch him and talk in a chat room while watching. They opened it up a while back to users to stream their own webcams onto the website as “channels.” Now you can view a bunch of other people’s live webcams. I’m going to test this out for a bit and see how I like it.

I’ve started recording my day in time lapse pictures from my built-in iSight. In this order it goes, office, room, kitchen, room, living room, room.

Since I now have a built-in webcam on my Macbook Pro, I have resurrected the SpeedyE Webcam. Some of you older folk will remember when I used to have a webcam in W151 and also M180. Those were the days. Now it’s just me in the room. Don’t have the good looks of Natty Hutchinson to attract the viewers. Definitely not as entertaining as the random people milling around 151, but I will have it looking at our poker tournament tonight at 8pm central. Stay tuuuuned.

I sold my webcam to panda so I don’t have one anymore. I edited the link to make it the m180 webcam. Panda’s does strange things in front of cameras so view at your own risk.

We have another webcam in our room and I also helped m180 put up their lower resolution webcam. You can navigate through them on your right. Go take a look.

I’m hosting a new webcam now, and probably 3 by the end of the day. The picture above is a live cast from Jester 587 which is Tony, Allen and Chris’s room. You can get the full refresh page by clicking on the WebCams link and clicking over to 587 Cam. Hopefully I’ll be setting up Peter Tam’s webcam soon so I’ll have 3 webcams on my site . I just had a test today in Calc which was pretty hard. I think I did ok though, nothing spectacular. This week has been pretty stressful. I’ll be spending more time at the PCL these next few weeks so I won’t fall behind. Alright that’s about it, have fun with the new webcams!
