Back to School

One of the perks of working at UT is you can take 3 hours each semester for free and have it count toward a degree. I decided to start working on another undergrad degree in Radio Telvision & Film. Starting next Spring I’ll be taking a Digital Media course on Monday and Wednesday.
Blanton Stickers
A few poles around the Blanton Museum get plastered with their stickers that they hand out.
Construction All Around
There’s 3 different construction projects going on right by the Sanchez building. The purple highlight is the Blanton Museum that they’re finishing up this Spring. Their site is pretty cool because they have a live webcam that you can actually control and watch construction people as they work. If you go to the webcam at around 5:00 PM everyday you can watch me walk to my parking garage. The blue highlight is the new administration building that they just started on. The orange highlight is the new UT Hotel that they’ve proposed. Just today they tore down the old apartment complex on the corner of University and 20th. Construction is always fun to watch but a hassle when they start blocking off sidewalks.
Passing Gas
University Closing!
Official word from the Dean’s office, the University is closing at 2 today due to “severe weather”! Woohoooo get to go home early! I love living in Texas.
