The documentary premeire went well tonight. With the principal editing done, it’s time to touch up some of the edits and remaster the audio and video. We’ve moved the “BigMac” G4 to my room to make it a bit easier to access. Gary and Tim will be taking a much deserved break and hopefully we can release the DVD sometime after spring break. If you didn’t get a chance to make it to the premiere, make sure to get a hold of the DVD when it comes out. It’ll be good stuff.

On Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7 PM, we’re going to be premiering the India Documentary at Liquid. If you’re not doing anything that night, make sure to come out and take a look. If it doesn’t convince you to do missions, I can at least guarantee it’ll be entertaining .

I got this in an email from Pastor Charlie:

Yesterday as i was coming back from the church by my scooter-bike i was thrown out of the bike and fell down. Praise God he saved my life and from major injuries. Just my right chest got badly hurt i am resting now today. But kindly pray for me and my family and for my ministry.

Keep Charlie and India in your prayers.

I was reading through II Corinthians when I came across these few verses. It seemed to almost be a summary of our trip to India:

“We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.”
II Corinthians 1:8-11

Thanks for everyone who prayed for us while we were in India .

So after a 50 hour trip back to Austin, we’re finally back! We had a huge delay in Chicago which eventually brought us to Memphis, TN where we stayed overnight. We got in this morning at around 10:00 on a small Northwest jet. It feels so good to be home. It’s gonna take me a while to process all the stuff from the trip. We’ll start working on the DVD as soon as we build Liquid Productions. Working on the DVD will really help me process everything. Til I figure out everything about India, make sure to look at some of the pictures I put up in My Photos section. I was filming most the time so I didn’t get a chance to take that many pics.

Hey guys I found internet again on our day off. We’re currently at the “nice” mall in Madras. Yesterday we got back from Banglore late at night. The scary thing about our drive back was that we got stopped at the state border. Apparently our drivers didn’t buy a permit for us to go through Banglore and they caught us. They were demanding that we pay 18,000 rupees, detain our van, and then make us ride back on a seperate bus. Pastor Charlie prayed hard and finally was able to negotiate with them. God was definately with us as we only had to pay the permit and they let us go on our way. Keep praying for us here in India, we are definately feeling all your prayers for us. We have 5 shows left and they’re the biggest shows yet. Hopefully we’ll be able to reach the youth and help out Calvary Community Church.

Hey guys I’m here at an internet cafe in India. We finally got a chance to have some time to get online as a team. Too bad it’s like 5 AM in Texas and no one is online :T. We just got out of a concert at a local high school. It went really well, the kids were awesome. They all wanted our autographs at the end, pretty funny. Alright I’m out, hopefully I can get on again before we come back to Austin. Please keep praying for me, especially my health as I’m not feeling too well. Thanks!

Hey guys I’ve finally been able to get an internet connection here in Madras. I just wanted to give you guys a quick update. Things have been even better than expected. God is definately good.
