Hockey filled Day

Went out to play some hockey today with ACC people. We ended up playing for a good 2 hours which turned out to be a lot of fun. After a short nap, I’ve been spending the rest of the night watching the Stars vs. Sharks in Game 6. Right now we’re waiting for OT to start.

Roller Hockey

I played roller hockey for the first time since high school yesterday. Brought back memories of playing at JJ Pierce with all the old DCBC people. I only got to play for an hour but that was probably enough since it was like 95 degrees outside. After that I had to jump in the shower and then head off to Vox to do production. Surprisingly I’m not sore today. Rather impressed with myself.

Stanley Cup Finals

I was watching the Stanley Cup finals today on ABC. I use to be a really big hockey fan since I also played hockey and worked for the San Jose Sharks. But since going to college, I’ve lost interest and haven’t kept up much. With that said, I still decided to watch the finals because Paul Kariya, a left-winger for the Mighty Ducks, use to be one of my favorite players. So I was watching along in the 2nd period when Scott Stevens lays out Kariya with a huge hit. He was obviously unconscious for a bit they’ll probably later find out that he got a concussion. Even the commentators were saying how they didn’t think he’d return once he was helped off the ice. It was almost like Disney was making Mighty Ducks 4 or something because a few minutes later Paul Kariya came back to the bench to play on. Not only that, but 2 shifts later he scores a huge goal to put the Ducks up 4-1. At times, sports offer great stories that even movie makers can’t beat. Even though the Ducks beat the Stars, I hope they win it all .

CBS Dragons Championship Game

We had 2 games today at 9:45 and 2:00. We won both of them so we’re in the championship game tomorrow at 1:00! The scores in the 2 games were 1-0 and 4-2. Over the whole tournament I’ve had 2 goals called back and 2 legit goals. Everyone’s been playing really well, especially the girls! We’re so close to an IM championship tshirt! Come support us Sunday 1:00 at the Rec Center!

1st IM Floor Hockey Game

I just got back from our IM Hockey Game. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m too old and out of shape. We ended up tying the game, 4-4. We were down by 3 goals in the 3rd and came back to tie it up so it was a good come back. We’re guaranteed 2 more games tomorrow, first one at 9:45 and second one at 2:00. If we do well, we have a championship game at 1:00 on Sunday! Big thanks to everyone who came out tonight to cheer us on. If you have a free Saturday, come out and at least watch our 2:00 game at the rec. Hopefully I’ll take some pictures at this next game and put it up. Alright I need to rest or else tomorrow I’ll be gone after my first shift .

STARS WIN GAME 5!! WAHAHAHHA heck ya!! I watched that game for 4 hours and it worth every second!! I guess it’s time to break out my Stars Jersey to wear tomorrow to school! HAHAHA OK I’m too wired to write anymore. Time to calm down….whew…calm…

STANLEY CUP

STARS ARE IN THE STANLEY CUP FINALS!! WOOHOO….alright just had to say that. I watched the game until I had to leave for a birthday dinner. It was 3-0 when I left and then when I got to the resturant it was 3-2!! So I watched the last minute of the game at the bar of Red Lobster. I was sitting next to two Sharks fans and they started talking trash about Belfour so I had to defend him . Heheh, I didn’t get beat up so it’s all good. Today I played ball at Bret Harte and I’m gonna go watch a movie at Eurjeans house later tonight, alright that’s it, bye!
