Round Rock Express
A group of us went out to the Round Rock Express game last night to watch Oliver throw out the first pitch. It was a perfect evening, the weather was great. They had $1 hot dogs and $1 sodas which just added to the fun. I ended up eating 3 hot dogs, a soda, and a funnel cake. The funnel cake had a ton of powdered sugar that ended up all over me and some on my camera :O. More pics on my flickr, click on the picture to go to them.
UT Baseball
I went to the UT baseball game today. Since it rained a few days in a row, it was nice and cool. It was a really exciting game. We came back against Oral Roberts when we were down by 2 runs in the 8th. The team rallied with 2 outs and no one on to score 4 runs and take the lead. Huston Street was pretty amazing closing out the game. We found out during the game that Ronald Reagan had died and Smarty Jones lost the Belmont. How sad…at least UT won

UT > FSU
UT beat FSU tonight 8-3! That put them ahead 1-0 in the best of 3 series. FSU is actually ranked #1 in the nation going into the College World Series. What really annoyed me during the game was that “seminole chant” that the FSU fans do. Your a white middle aged caucasian male….you are not an Indian….stop chanting. They would go for about 10-15 minutes at a time waving their arms in a chopping motion and chanting. I guess that’s why UT > FSU. Hopefully UT can close them out tomorrow. The game should be on at 7 pm CST barring any further weather problems in Tallahasee.

UT is playing against FSU tomorrow on ESPN2. The game should start around 8:00 PM cst, so watch and support our defending champs .
