Scott & Marian came over to borrow some stuff and noticed something was next to our front door. Turned out it was a bat sleeping. We tried waking it up with compressed air but it wouldn’t budge. Guess we’re going out the garage for today.

Kelly had bought me a fish basket for grilling for my birthday. I tried it for the first time today with a white bass that I bought for $1.83 at the new Asian supermarket on Lamar. It turned out pretty darn good. I looked up some recipes online but none of them looked that great so I came up with my own. Lightly brush oil on the fish, add salt and pepper, cut lemon and squeeze juice onto the fish, use the lemon slices and green onions during grilling and grill til flakey. Turned out really yummy. I added a little soy sauce after it was done. I think I will have to do this more often.

We had a crazy DS Lan Party last night at my place. There were 16+ people with DSes, both Lite and “Phat.” First game we played was a 16 player Tetris DS Ladder. I ended up playing Drew in the final round and he beat me 2-0. After that there was Mario Cart DS, Bomberman, Big Brain Academy, and also some Mario Mini games. Overall our first DS Lan was a success, looking to invite some more people next time .

I was looking around flickr for shots of a toilet and this one caught my eye. Pretty funny. Anyways, I was looking for a picture of a toilet cuz this morning I woke up and did my morning bathroom rituals. Only today, instead of the water flushing down the toilet, it started rising…..and rising…and rising, til it started to overflow. Nasty. I had to clean it all up before rushing out the door to work. What a way to start the day.
