Shipping Woes
The one thing that Internet Shopping lacks is instant gratification. The closest that I've gotten to instant gratification and online shopping was when I bought my
KDS monitor my freshman year from
Outpost.com. I ordered it at night and the next morning it was at Jester. So I ordered
Kelly a new camera last week since she has never had a digital camera of her own. I was expecting it to come before Kelly left for Memphis today but it hasn't! It was actually in Austin yesterday morning but
UPS decided not to ship it to my house. Then over a month ago,
I preordered Aperture thinking that it would come at the same time as the release date, November 30th. But no, they decide to ship it so it will arrive 2 days after the release date! All these shipping problems, driving me nuts.

yah - what a bummer - i hear ya on the instant gratification bit, sometimes i just forget that I even ordered something...
