Barton Springs
It was really hot today so Kelly and I decided to go swim at Barton Springs. While we were driving, we heard that there was a 20 percent chance of rain. I didn't think much of it since it was really bright and sunny. After paying $3 for parking and then another $6 for admission, Kelly and I started eating some of our food that we brought in. When we finished up, we decided to go in the water. Right after we jumped in, we saw lightning strike off in the distance. The lifeguards blew their whistles after the storm cloud started moving closer. So after about 2 minutes of swimming, Kelly and I had to leave :(. How sad.

Made $$ Spent $$
Today I made $100 by being the photographer for a family who had a son that was graduating from the Comm school. Today I spent $100 buying a wok and a set of knives at Target. All in a days work.

Job
After looking around the past few weeks for a job it seems like I may have found one to my liking. I walked into Campus Computers today and inquired about job openings. They told me to come back Monday because they're moving the whole store to the UGL and things were pretty hectic. I asked them what the possibility of me getting a job there. They said a lot of the employees were graduating or going on vacation so there was a good chance. Excellent.

Sunlight
I've settled down pretty nicely in my new room. It's nice having my own room, I actually have some privacy now. The only I don't like about this room is the East facing windows. Two mornings in a row now I've woken up at 7 AM. The sun shines through the top of the window and reflects off the mirror on the opposite wall right into my face. I think I'm going to have to buy some type of eye covering.

151: End of an Era
So Marco and Jon Lin have officially moved out of 151. It seems pretty empty without all the posters and the shelves. I still remember moving into 151 the first day of my junior year. Meeting Natty was great. We were all expecting him to be a jerk but he turned out to be the best roommate we could ask for. I still have 151 time lapses from last year. Eight computers in one room was pretty crazy. Warcraft and CS setup on all eight called for excessive time wasting and hours of fun. Back then the 151 regulars were CWan, Clem, Louis, Big Andy, Jon Lin, Koller, Albert, and George Lee. I would say 151 was much more of gamers room last year. This year 151 was more of a hang out room, the regulars were a lot more diverse. CWan, Kao, Zhang, Jon Wang, Cat, Izzy, Darlene, Elaine, Koller, DShaw, and Albert. It was a bit slow in the beginning of the year, but the past few months have been a lot of the same people. VC and Bridge til the morning rather than CS and W3. I will miss seeing everyone come by, but I think I'm getting old and I need my rest. Goodbye 151 you have served us well.

Liquid Studio
Tim and I went to Liquid today to clean up the studio so we can finally finish editing the India DVD. Before we got to Liquid, we stopped by Fry's to check out the deals for their anniversary sale. We ended up both buying 200 GB hard drives for $80 after rebate. Tomorrow we get to put it in the Liquid Big Mac and it'll have a little under a terabyte of storage :O. Gonna go shopping for a bit with Kelly now.

Daily Update
Since I don't have any exams, I find it necessary to update while all the other bloggers on my site study. I woke up around 11:30 today. It feels good to wake up when you want and not to an alarm. After I bummed around for a bit, I ran a few errands. I sold back my worthless books to the co-op for a whoppin' $27. I then proceeded to the CMA to pick up my final project from my photography class. The final project had the pictures of the kittens in them. I ended up getting a 91 on it. After I brought Kelly her lunch that I bought for her, I went to work out. After working out alone for a bit, I saw CWan and Big Andy. I did a few sets with them, then they left me. I'm so weak now. I will have to get swol this summer.

San Jacked
After leaving Kelly's room tonight, I was waiting on the 5th floor for the elevator. When the elevator arrived, an asian couple walked out and I walked in. Right as the doors closed, I noticed that the 4th floor button was pushed....bastards.

Trash Room Treasures
Tonight I helped Kelly take out the trash in her room and was rewarded quite nicely. I found a Dell computer in the trash room so I took a quick peek inside. It was a celeron system with a 20 gb HD so I decided to take it. I just wiped the 20 gb HD clean and gave it to Marco. I think Clem is gonna take the CD-rom and Izzi might take the 128 mb stick of ram. If you guys have a chance, go take a look in your trash rooms when move out time comes. People get rid of some crazy stuff.

Stuff
Since I'm getting closer and closer to graduating and owning my own "stuff," I've been thinking about what I want to buy. Things such as kitchenware, knives, furniture and other crap have been running through my head these past few days. I'm only a semester away from graduating so I figure I can start buying this stuff of my own. But I figure if I buy this stuff, I might as well buy quality. 2 summers ago I worked for Cutco for a few weeks. They have really good knives but their stuff is also freaking expensive. Pots and pans, should I buy the cheap kind or invest in some high quality stuff? If I end up going high end, it'll probably be a better investment in the end but where am I going to get all this money to buy it in the first place?
