If you were in Austin today, there was a huge storm that passed through around 5. I was heading up to Liquid to build some digital stuff when the storm hit. When I got there, Chris and I were building our rack when Walton came over to check and make sure everything was ok. Apparently lightning struck the roof of ACC and part of the attic caught fire. I headed back over to the other side with Walton to take a look. There were 4 fire engines parked and about 5 firemen hacking the roof apart. I also saw 2 cameramen from the local news. The fire wasn’t bad enough to do too much damage but I think they’re going to have to replace the attic and roof. It’s funny because around this time last year, I wrote about a storm that passed over Liquid and blew out trees and part of our roof. That happened August 8th of last year and I wrote about it here.
