I was watching the Stanley Cup finals today on ABC. I use to be a really big hockey fan since I also played hockey and worked for the San Jose Sharks. But since going to college, I’ve lost interest and haven’t kept up much. With that said, I still decided to watch the finals because Paul Kariya, a left-winger for the Mighty Ducks, use to be one of my favorite players. So I was watching along in the 2nd period when Scott Stevens lays out Kariya with a huge hit. He was obviously unconscious for a bit they’ll probably later find out that he got a concussion. Even the commentators were saying how they didn’t think he’d return once he was helped off the ice. It was almost like Disney was making Mighty Ducks 4 or something because a few minutes later Paul Kariya came back to the bench to play on. Not only that, but 2 shifts later he scores a huge goal to put the Ducks up 4-1. At times, sports offer great stories that even movie makers can’t beat. Even though the Ducks beat the Stars, I hope they win it all
